Background:

Founders of The International Dermal Institute supplying professional skin care products, and training of skin care professionals.

Brief:

The ability to book courses in a number of unusual ways. For example, a 'Scatter Course' is a course is made up of three individual bookings that are made across three separate calendar months. Loyalty management based on course attendance was a must, and the ability to work in different time zones real time.

Challenges:

Technology spread - central hosting in the UK but working through Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Time zones and data transfers/changeover strategy.

Result:

All objectives in producing a stable and effective solution with minimal disruption to existing procedures were achieved. 90% of the gaps were solved by the flexibility of the Ez-Book configuration and the reporting tool and the remaining 10% required core development mainly in relation to date and time stamping of transactions in a real time environment where there is a 17 hour time difference.
